Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) — The 19th general meeting of the International Taekwon-Do Federation was held in Russia on October 13.

It was attended by members of the leadership of the ITF, at least 260 delegates from 86 countries and honorary guests.

After congratulatory speeches were made the meeting discussed and decided on a series of issues arising in developing the ITF. It adopted the statute and regulations of the ITF and the rules on games revised as required by the times.

Chang Ung was reelected president of the International Taekwon-Do Federation and the admission of the Azerbaijan Taekwon-Do Association to the ITF was approved at the meeting.

The general meeting decided to hold the 17th Taekwon-Do World Championship in Pyongyang in September Juche 100 (2011).
