Pyongyang — Walter Sharp, commander of the U.S. forces in south Korea, was recently reported to have underscored the need to keep the “UN Command” in the future, too, claiming it is an “effective mechanism” to eliminate the “factor of conflict” from the Asia-Pacific region and it will “protect” the Korean Peninsula from “hostile actions.” Read more…
